From Argentina with Love

Finished as much as I could.

Working on a group composition of the main cast for my pirates story .

This is Cosette, the way I draw her might change. I want the style for the story to resemble Monkey Island .

Three more characters to draw with this composition now .

UPDATE: Fixed Cosette's pose. Going to start on Chevalle now. Only a short time before I have to go to work , gonna come back to this after I get back .

UPDATE 2: I'm back and I didn't like the first time I sketched out Chevalle's pose on here but I liked his face. So I'll be working his pose from what I have. I'm really happy with his transformation to cartoon .

UPDATE 3: Completed this sketch of Chevalle. I'm quite pleased with him at this stage . I just have to work on his overcoat a little more to make it more ornate. But two more of my pirates for this composition .

UPDATE 4: Minor tweaks to these two, just cleaned up Cosette's lines a bit and gave a little something to Chevalle's overcoat.

UPDATE 5: Started on this sketch of Philippe. At the moment he's looking a lot like he's from Akira :/, and I'm still working on his pose for this composition. I might even scrap this entire pose for him for something different, but I don't know yet :<.

UPDATE 6: Finished this sketch of Philippe. I think he's working quite well . Just one more pirate for this composition.

UPDATE 7: Basic sketch of Marcus. I finally have a full composition for my characters now. I think I'm going to move Philippe around or do another sketch of Marcus. Just going to play around with the composition now.

UPDATE 8: Fixed Marcus, now the composition looks a little better. Also cleaned him up . I'm pretty happy with the composition at this stage . Time to work on a background for them.

UPDATE 9: Playing around with the background. I don't know what to do with it yet so I'm playing around with some shapes.

UPDATE 10: Added parts of the background and cleaned up a little bit . Now I have to work out how to draw a sail in from this angle XD.

UPDATE 11: Worked on the background more and also cleaned and fixed a bit of Philippe and Marcus.

UPDATE 12: Just cleaned up the lines a little bit before I add the colour.

UPDATE 13: Pirates in technicolour lol. Anyway, just started on painting the colour in and I just wanted to get the base coat of the background in so I can appropriately judge what colours to use for the party.

UPDATE 14: Filled in the painting with base colours . Now to work into the colour, just have to decide to work on the background or foreground first O_o.

UPDATE 15: Working on the background, been having trouble with the mast a little. I don't want it to be too dark :/.

UPDATE 16: added another layer of colour on the figures and started on some texture for the figures too.
